This is great for the community guys! We all appreciate the effort that went into and will continue to go into this. I'm horribly unprepared for the US Open of MXS sponsor wise, perhaps the EVS Open was placed the 16th and 17th Nov. to be the new yearly event? If so, takes some pressure off my back. :P

Dave, Sween and I had been planning to do a second US Open for quite awhile, but when you posted your event we decided to give you the name SX Open and continue on planning Race Factory and our event. No big deal, the more legit races the better is the way we were looking at it. We definitely don't want to discourage you from doing your event, and we definitely won't schedule an event right on top of yours if you are planning to still run it. The point of this site is to add to the MXS racing experience, and the more events the better for the community...whether they are ours or someone elses. A cash race is still definitely legit. Hopefully this announcement didn't catch you off guard in a bad way - because that is definitely the furthest from our intentions.

Double post FTW!

We just bumped the date on the EVS Supercross Open back a week 2 days ago because Wheels was going to be out of town. I just thought about your post and realized we did schedule on top of your event. Let's you, sween, wheels and myself jump in a PM and chat about a solution so we aren't competing with eachother.

Our bad on that one, we'll make it right.

Oh it's no problem at all Chris. I'll just take the money I was planning on throwing down for the US Open and potentially let you guys run a 100% payback dash for cash in night 2. Two lap race everything goes? haha would be interesting!

Even though I was a small part of this I still want to show my appreciation to Sween, chex and Wheels for doing all of this. It will definitely grow MXS and bring even more credibility to the game and our community :).
