Re: Leaving
Dont quit, practice. Take your time, and just play the game when you want to. it's not like you're forced to load it up the moment you sit in front of your PC. Stick some chill music on and just do laps of your fav track. Dont matter if you crash, it's all experience.
Take this setup, it's a good one for outdoor tracks. you might find it a bit hard, solid-ish suspension, that's how i like it, but i race and win with it, so it can't be all that bad. (When i say win, i mean against most people that come on the mp servers, not like Siemenlinko or anything. Sit down in the corners. I use an xbox controller, left thumb for lean and left and right (leaning forward is also sitdown), right analog for throttle, rear brake (forward and back). right trigger is front brake, left trigger is clutch. right button change up, left button change down.

Good luck with that. I'd give you mine but it's stiff and sensitive so I don't think you'd like itMotoX745 wrote:i need a supercross setup with soft suspension

Re: Leaving
Hate to say it, but Ive quit this game more times than I can count...and yes this is based on my riding ability. Im still roughly 20-30 sec down from the fast guys, and now every time I reach a limit I ask for help. Most of the time it doesnt really do any good but theres always that one thing someone says that pushes me a little faster. What makes this game so great is also the same thing that will make you rage quit. No other mx game can touch the physics, and you will be back...how do I know...how do "we" know....cuz we've all been there. Just take a break, come back when the rage subsides
also there are a bunch of things you can do to still be a part of the game while you take a break from riding like, track making, skins, and objects.
my sig was infested...

Re: Leaving
Don't lie, on SX you're like 10 secs behind fastest guys. I've raced against you on both 02 and 03 and you've beaten me like 3/4 of the timespoidog808 wrote:Hate to say it, but Ive quit this game more times than I can count...and yes this is based on my riding ability. How can you even race? You can't have time for that since you're posting your comments on every fucking thread...die996 wrote:Don't lie, on SX you're like 10 secs behind fastest guys. Re: Leaving
less rebound damping on the front, more on the rear. pull back a little on takeoff. dont go full throttle on the face of jumps, then goose it on the lip. shift up a gear at the lip to accomplish the same thing. i remember when i started playing and nosediving everywhere i read that you shouldnt be riding the limiter off the lip of jumps. now i do it all the time, you just have to remember to let off and then punch it, or lean back a bit to keep the front end up.MotoX745 wrote:Well I got it worked out but now I nOsedive so can someone help

Re: Leaving
im just really wanting to get my setup perfect where i can hit huge lines like normally trying to expand a bit but its hard to do not really knowing much about suspension and what helps it

One of the best explinations of the suspension I have found
Shows both bike setup and advance bike setup settings.

Re: Leaving
I use a near stock setup on the keyboard and i can pull laps about 10 seconds slower than the very fastest guys (Like top 3 in SX points) and im so jacked about it.
Ive had the game for almost a year and i havnt outright quit yet, a few times where i played less often, but i just kept at it and kept going.
