Not a chance I'd be able to even think about getting anything done by then...
The release of the last GP is on the 2nd and the MXDN is on the 28/29th of September and I assume the MXSDN will be at about the same time.
I guess my next-gen-visuals-super-project will have to wait until the next one...

DOhhhhhhh, I forgot about the MXSoN when scheduling. I wanted to push it out far enough to give guys atleast a hope of taking part.

I didn't choose you for a judge initially because I wanted you to enter haha. Maybe you can take my spot if people don't think it'll be unfair if I enter?

I am holding that 5th spot temporarily as I am just waiting for confirmation. If they bow out, you MIGHT make an okay choice but you'll have to make a better case than the 6 people who have already PM'd me asking to be a judge.

I like the interest in the competition, I just hope we can some great entries as well!

Are we allowed to use 3d models from the internet? I'll make most of the objects myself, but if I don't have time anymore I would get some from the internet if that's allowed.

I personally don't agree with releasing all your assets for your competition to use... I would be more than happy to release them after the closing date. Otherwise it just defeats the purpose for trying to one up the competition based on your skills on all the aspects of making a track and kind of more to be just a displacement map competition.

Still keen to play by whatever rules you throw out and will hopefully have a decal pack released in time to use

ive got a track im working on at present that id love to enter, but its a replica of my local track here in aus. not many people would know of it, so can I still enter it?

Jay, you did read it wrong. For your track you don't release your stuff till the comp ends. It's for stuff made for you by someone not on your team.

No replicas. Of course hard to police, but if caught you'll be disqualified.

Just add a section and as "schm" (like schmillville or schmudds creek) infront of the name. Fantasy as can be bro!
