i dont understand how this is true because on every title ive seen it says more than this, my 2001 yz125 said about 38.5 hp and my 2010yz250f says 42.2 on the title :?: :?:

Dyno's are never completely accurate. Wait till you see the dyno from the Transworld shootout, I bet the curves will be a bit different.

I believe the mfg's measure it at the crank. And you lose a lot through the transmission, clutch, chain, wheel and tire. So that's the when measured at the wheel like in these tests they are always lower than quoted by the mfg.

On the bike tests? Pretty sure they are all stock. And you you can lose 8hp easily on a dyno. The right tire alone can gain you 5hp.
