Care to share what the new zzztesty includes? I believe this file included the new handlebar collisions within previous snap - is this just the same, or have some changes been made?

PS I am also getting the "mx.exe has stopped working" message when closing the game. Hasn't happened to me with any previous versions/snapshots.

take that with a grain of salt. Traction, dyno, and other settings also affect the top speed.
