Would be nice if you included the riders name in the video somewhere.

Like flash the name at the start of the helmet cam or something.

Opinions:

Helmet cam view blows, more like a dick cam I'd say. (ladies prob like it)
The audio transitions/editing/pick I feel really, really don't bode well.
No compositing on the video at all.
Lack of credit. (which might be nice but not entirely necessary I guess)

I feel the quality of submitted video could be better in general, even in the given time frame.

Maybe a thanks/recognition towards:
-Jlv
-Rider
-Companies such as Limited Decal and MotoOption, which are on the bales and whatnot. Even though nothing has really gone into it, they sort of act as sponsors.

---- Agree wasnt good at all, but i have my reasons. Im seeing the responses, at first i was just going to do solo helmet cam and nothing else, we are testing what the public likes to see. Next week will be more like last year style with helmet camera following / passing riders so the lines are visible. My vegas skills got a little rusty but never doubt, Everyone involved is talking with eachother and changes are being made for next week and fourth, dont worry :)

Phoenix will be what you guys are used to seeing, agree on the audio transition bugged me too but i got it all back to me now, slowly but surely people.

--- The problem with giving me those #'s is that YES the work, almost exactly what i used in the raw capture.......BUT when i go to 16x9 widescreen format this footage expands its self wider and zooms in a partial amount, so now your raw capture now OFF which is the problem you are noticing. So if you want the camera at 120 view, it really needs to be at 140 and look messed up in the raw capture so when its converted its ACTUALLY 120 at 16x9 ratio

catch me on msn or vent if u wanna help me with testing #'s

NO offense mxer323 you are off with the whole 16x9 ratio, I have a A1 preview I made, not to one up on you or anything, just making one for my self, and too see is mine looks any good, but if you adjust the 1st person view correctly it will look normal, and there is no extra zooming, you may have to tweak it just the slightest bit, but nothing like you video was. It does not make a difference what ratio you put it at. You will see in my video. again please do Not take it as I am trying to one up on you. I am just doing it for my own use that is all.... and I know mine is not better than yours. :(

NOTE I was not aware that the #1 dude was not Shack before I made this, so don't hate on me.

Naw dude it was good, better then mine in all honesty, im out of shape but its all coming back even right now I haven't really touched anything in a video program in 6 months + . As you can see videos will go up friday now, instead of thursday (which basically gives me 12 hours extra to get it done and submitted) yours was fully widescreen, but not truly 1080i 16x9 format. We got 15 more weeks of this, no worries mate.

it was 16x9 screen, I just did not wanna waste the time, on a 1080p video, just stuck with 790 even if it was 1080 it still would effect the view of the HC tho. but Im excited to see what u got for use the next 15 rnds

its all coming back haha, and im always open for new stuff / ideas. catch me on msn or vent or pm. I know i talked it over and we wanted to see the feedback on the first few rounds to see what people thought (not mxs community) about having the "montage" at the first section of videos, Or if it was just better to do a straight up single lap solo. Next week might be a little crazy also since it is my local race and a lot of local things are happening and riders and friends start heading out here monday.

If you would Like I could help out some how, weather it be footage or editing or anything for that matter. Could even whip up a nice After Effects intro for you. anyways My personal opinion it would be nice to see some action in the first section of the video, could even try HC first, then the edits after the HC. It would be nice to see more action for sure tho.. your doing great tho, I like em...

If there shall be names in the beginning (which I prefer) it should be your actual name not you mxs nickname

Why would you do that, seeing as this is a video game, it is not like anyone gets any type of name exposure based on there real life name... Not sure I see you point on that one.

With the last I'm missing the bike sounds a bit.
First is the music loud and when you put your volume down you don't here anything of the bike anymore.
It would be great that the music fade outs and the bike sound fade's in. I don't know wich program you're using but it's even possible with windows movie maker.

James, I'd like to do the Phoenix helmet cam. I'll shoot you a demo after the track is released.
