i don't think it's gonna happen stickerz!
I don't get why JLV only has a server in US? Have you guys ever played quake?
It shits all over this game, and it's built with virtually the same engine. There are servers in every city in every country and has only advertising and those who chose to pay supporting the whole game....
Where are our servers JLV? I know you can, just do it!
Maybe go play some quake if your confused about what i'm saying!
PING 300 is bloody crap! And for you smart ass' who say "just host it yourself", NO!
I have never paid for quake but can play whenever, wherever and however i want! No moderators saying "please don't swear or attack people", "ride properly", "get your sh*t sorted" and "Blah blah blah"! The only reason people even get pissed is because your stuck in the same room, there's no where else to go. You can't run and hide on another server because there is none!
Even servers that are progressive where the top times cannot race in the B grade servers and C grade servers.
WOW! this is all probably to much to say in one post, but really JLV. You sell the game and the advertising rights, but rely on the users to host servers, build graphics and test updates!

Actually, Quake was originally just like this. Id ran some servers in Texas but most servers were run by users. In Quake Live you have to pay a monthly fee or watch video advertisements before each game.

I had been shopping around for VPS servers in Australia and found http://www.jumba.com.au/vps. But the last thing I want to do is look like I'm caving in to a nasty forum post. So I want everyone to know right now that if/when I set that up, it had nothing to do with coryktm's post. If anything I'm less likely to bother now.

Quake was like this back in the late 90's, entering ip's to join servers...

And... why not share some insight into shopping around for an Aus server. Anyone who's read this topic and others, would surely realize that it's been an ongoing struggle to setup an Aus server. Leaving many people with a bitter taste in their mouths. Maybe that's because we're the consumers, not creators.

Why would you feel like your caving into a nasty forum post? Feedback from game players is integral to development.
You can't always expect it to be sugar coated!
Playing MXS is a very small portion of my life, so don't let my opinions affect gameplay for the many fanatics who are prepared to crucify me for expecting more.

Oh, on a side note. Mr Snrub, your the dumbass! No wait, that's pathetic. Forget about it! your post was highly interlectual....I'll be sure to use you as my PR adviser in the future!

God damn it, do you know how embarrassing it is to be corrected by the person you're trying to flame! lol

Also, i should give props to JLV. Although i demand more and more, you have created a game that is entertaining and fun to play. Good Job! I could not, so don't ever be offended by my feedback. That's all it is, one persons opinion.

Let me know if you can chip in to run one of these servers :) it will be $10 a month so would be great if you could put in $2.50 a month and we shall see if it works well. If no one wants to put some cash in then we won't run it.
