Rename it to "mx.exe" and move the file where you have mxsimulator installed. And it's not 450s but four 50cc bikes.

Alright jlv, here we are a week after High Point (which was my birthday), where you said you would give me new two stroke sounds for my birthday. You lied, and then said it would be about a week late.

IT'S A WEEK LATER AND YOU LIED AGAIN!!?!??!?!?

I can't believe after everything we've been through, all the premix we've huffe....Ehhh I'll keep that part out- you continue to feed me LIES!!!

Here's your ultimatum; release the new sounds or put in your signature "I love Yamaha four strokes and hate Suzuki two strokes".

Good day sir.

I have to admit the crossfading isn't working well at all right now. If you force the patches to an exact RPM they sound bad, but if you don't the two patches you're crossfading make a chorus and sound like a twin. On top of that, when you change the frequency at all they sound awful because there are multiple tones where some follow the RPM but others stay steady.

I'm going to try a new idea tonight which I hope will be a breakthrough. The plan is to never change the pitch and chop it at zero crossings to maintain the RPM tempo. Wish me luck!

Nvm I didn't read all the way through the thread. My bad for the double post. It wouldn't let me edit.

Quick question, if I launch mx.exe --print-orientation from the command line, should the data stream to the console? And should I be able to stream the data in an external program using stdin? Sorry if these sound like Noobish questions because I am a bit of noob with that kind of stuff :P

You won't see the output on the console since mx.exe isn't a console app. If you run it from a pipe it should work though. E.g.

mx.exe --print-orientation | myapp.exe

Where myapp.exe is something that reads from stdin.

If you have to ask it's probably of little use to you. It's meant for people who are experimenting with special hardware like motion platforms.

Holy crap. Just rode SX for the first time in months. I'm guessing it's the flywheel based on other's comments, but man is it difficult now! Swapping in the whoops a LOT more, especially when accelerating, and tapping anything with your rear wheel sends you out of control! Granted I was a bit rusty, but looks like it needs some adjusting, or we are all going to have to work on our suspension/riding technique! haha

I've been saying this repeatedly but it's not as bad as people make it seem. With correct suspension settings and a little bit of throttle control, blitzing the whoops is more than doable. It's not like people don't need them both in real life too, so it's a welcome change imo.

I don't know, only way I can somewhat get through them is putting it like 2 gears higher than I should be and bogging it through creeping.
