Re: MXS Bike Setup Application (v3.1 01-Aug-2010)
so installed this correctly about a week ago and it worked fine. now when i try and open it it says MXS bike setup has encountered a problem and needs to close. ive uninstalled and reinstalled both the .net 4.0 framework and the SSCEruntime-ENU.exe thing. i dont want to uninstall because my friend's settings are loaded in mxs but not mine
any ideas?

I know I've been saying this a lot but, wait for the new application if you are having trouble after following the instructions.
I have been quite busy this summer making preparations to move to a new city starting a new eduction etc. I have some more free time in the the near future so I will be finishing the project.

Re: MXS Bike Setup Application (v3.1 01-Aug-2010)
try putting the name of the current "mx.exe" file at the end of your directory path ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator\mx.exe <---name that to what ever exe file your using. also did you see the "instructional video" in this topic? and lastly it only works with Vista and Windows 7 (sorry no legacy support)Kording wrote:Same here. Re: MXS Bike Setup Application (v3.1 01-Aug-2010)
HI,
I use the bike setup application. But a strage thing i notice is that the bike handles different offline than online.
Offline I never go down in the corners. Online I fall down when I lean too far or go to slow.
I'm sure the online handling is the correct one.
This is my setup:
stability=30.000000
leveling=20.000000
roll_damping=55.000000
roll_limit_angle=45.000000
roll_limit_factor=7.500000
steering_damping=45.000000
steering_strength=60.000000
max_steering_force=350.000000

slow_damping_factor=1.250000
land_damping_falloff=0.187500
land_damping_factor=1.750000

brake_torque=350.000000
