I'll let you in on a little secret.

Race Factory isn't monopolizing MX Sim sites and racing, the community is choosing to play on rF because right now, there isn't anything out there offering more. I welcome anyone to step up and find the time to run something as organized with the quality and quantity of events that rF has and deliver it for free. We will always continue to try to improve and grow, but I'd rather here, "I don't like the look of the site" because it atleast says what you dont' like. If you just want to say rF is garbage, good for you, but it doesn't help make it better... But then again, if it's garbage, then you should easily be able to build something way better, then everyone can say how your site is garbage.

A year ago, no one was complaining about not having enough updates when there was little to no organized racing and the only updates were a forum thread here or there, but now people are complaining when we're 20 steps ahead of a year ago?

rF is continuing to grow, I had talked to quite a few people about it at A1 and will hopefully have a few more new sponsors on board soon. If someone else wants to step it up and compete, that's awesome and will just make more events for the community. I'm sure Wheels, Sween and I would all like to race without stressing over building tracks, lining up prizing, updating the website, and running the event.

Perspective, look it up.

You shouldn't be pissed off. It was good advice. I gave it because I saw you attempt to cross a bridge which you had just burned. It's never a good idea to insult people you might later want to work with.

Also, before you post more pirate links remember I have enough information to report you to the authorities.

I'm sure that "Software Pirate" looks quite good on a programming resume.

Well, I tried to explain that new members will get rolled here and to have patients. but....seems I didnt get thru to him. As stated before my start here wasnt the greatest, but I learned to chill, and above all, get a sense of humor. TBH, MXS and the Forums is a great place to have fun and actually be a part of it. I kind of feel for him, he probably had allot to offer, but insulting the growing rF would not have been my choice. Personally I know the amount of work that goes into providing what every contributor provides, from Objects to Live Race Streaming. And to insult any accomplishment is a poor insight to what they do. but all in all, no matter how frustrated I may have gotten....posting a pirate version of the game was never on my list.

This may seem like a kiss ass moment, but its not. Hell Im not even good enough to take advantage of what you guys offer...lol. But I personally think you guys are doing a fantastic job. I totally nerded out for A1 and watched the rF races. And look forward to the next. I enjoyed watching a chattin it up with fellow MXS'ers. I see all the work, and those that insult or disrespect what you guys are doing have no idea how much money you could be making, doing even half the work. But you do it for free....Mahalos. (thank you)

Good thing I was out of town, wasted at A1 IRL, or I would have been embarassing myself by raging in this thread! Well put Checkerz!

How is this better and more professional than this?

If you are going to try to impress people with a quick "mock up" and discredit a huge presence in their community, you might want to get a little more "wow" factor on there, but honestly, simple is the road to success on website's like ours, but hey, I'm no "professional web designer." hehe

now....

MxManiacs is looking toward something like this in the future.... we are small now... but with some time and effort we may be able to offer what you speak of. Its going to be a tall order though after what ive seen from RF.... the site is truly set up well.
