Not to mention I hate it so much when you make a mistake, and go off the track for a second and need to reenter, and the timing gates are placed 2 inches from the edge of the track, and you end up getting a penalty for it. I don't want to have to hope that I made all the gates, I want to know that if I make a mistake I can reenter without getting screwed over by some strict placement. (Which is why all my corners extend a ways outside, and inside both, because I know that shit happens.)

Hey voutare, I'm not saying that I looked to just cut the track. I looked because I was amazed by how much, the first time I rode the track, that I missed corners and didn't get docked. I was, wtf, these timing gates must be way out there, so I checked. I like yourself, expect people to have the common courtesy to stay inside the yellow markers, but we all know that not everyone does.

Sorry, I re read what I wrote, if that came off as a knock to you, it wasn't. It was more than a rant than anything. I'm speaking in general here. But if someone wants to cut the track to win, let them do it. The rest off us can now that we're a better person than that.
For all of you who really check timing gates to cut the track: Come on, really?

That's why I always use a hay bale. There is no doubt you have to go outside of it.
