I'll probably go the other way. You get one vote for your favorite track and that's it. The more complex you make it the easier it is to abuse.LuizH wrote:my opinion for the next contests
make the votes less simple, just like in puremxs

That's how I was thinking you were originally going to do it for that exact reason. People voting 1 for a track just because they don't like the person etc.jlv wrote:I'll probably go the other way. I completely agree, I gave out 5-10s as if it were a 1-5 point scale, b/c as you said, NONE of theses track deserve a 1.DJ wrote:Jesus christ. That just goes to show the maturity of some people round here. None of those tracks deserved anything below 5. People who gave out 1's, you guys are just idiots.

This is how I vote, if I may quote Billy Bob from Varsity Blues, "10... a f#¢king 10!" Did anyone else notice, Manitova only got 67 votes, some tracks got 68 votes, and others got 69 votes. Did someone forget to vote for some tracks? Also, ONLY 69 PEOPLE VOTED, WTF!!! JLV, how many keys have you given out? I know its WAY more than 69 keys. This track contest is a disappointment in my book, not because of the tracks, but because of a lack of voting by the players of this game.

I agree.... there are over 1000 keys out there now.... 69 / 1000 is only 6.9% of the community!!! Why more people didn't participate in the voting is beyond me.lluks252 wrote:This is how I vote, if I may quote Billy Bob from Varsity Blues, "10... a f#¢king 10!" I feel the same way. I can't believe that more people didn't vote. Im extremely disappointed in the outcome, not just because of where our track finished, but I dont feel like we got a big enough sample of the community to truly be a close competition. Congrats to everyone who entered and congrats to DDMX and WilsonATV for all of their hard work.

well it was open for like 3 days wasnt it? I mean its not like it was only open for an hour or 2. I don't fault JLV whatsoever for the lack of votes, I just think people got lazy and didn't care about the contest now that they got their shiny new tracks to play on.

I think less people actually own the game than you might think. A valid key is required to submit a vote mind you.
