Try ./uploadresults instead. Modern Linux systems don't put the current directory in your path anymore for security reasons.

Ye, i found that trick on another topic. After that i had another problem : i fixed it by putting 777 rights on both results.txt and uploadresults.sh .

That error normally occurs when you're being blocked a software firewall. Try allowing sim (I also did mxserver.exe) through your Windows firewall.

Windows7: Allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-Windows-Firewall
Vista: Allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-Windows-Firewall

So i'm working on making my own server! (looking for someone to test connecting soon)

Problem is i have the timeout set for people on my server, but is there a way i can make it where i don't timeout.. say i'm just keeping the server open and have to take a break?

I keep trying(unsuccessfully) to solve my "server version doesn't match client version" error for my server. I unplugged from the router and straight into my modem to avoid port-forwarding and now I get this error. I have the latest versions of everything. Here's a pic of the second command prompt window that gets another message(it's a blank, second cp window that pops up when I run my server launch file. I have no port number(defaults to 19800, right?) in the address. Help!!! Please. Thanks.

Plugging directly into the modem won't necessarily remove the port forwarding requirement. How is your network set up? Is the modem in bridge mode or is it acting as a router too?

I'll get back at it tonight Phat and JLV. I'll post args and see if I can answer the modem question(it's the cable company's modem).
