So be thankful there will be a upcoming changes in the future even though you dont know how long it will take. Just be calm and wait!
This thread was started in April 2012.... We have all been very patient.
JLV not managing his time efficiently isn't our issue, it's his.
No one here is demanding every idea be implemented.
It's the simple fact that none of them have been, or have been even acknowledged by him...

The game has been in Dev for over 4 years, and even as a "one man army", that is plenty of time considering some of the basic features we're still missing (Server browser, friendslist).
I mean when we have to use some random guys application to save bike settings for different tracks, 4+years in development mind you, then you get a little antsy.
These people love the game, hence their reasoning for suggesting ideas to enhance it.
why do you constantly bash on jlv for how he manages his time? it's common knowledge that this game isn't his full time job, and although it has been four years and we are still missing important features, it's something he does in his spare time and he is doing his best to constantly keep his game entertaining to people who play.

I have had enough of BuryYourHead. What a jerk. YOU go make the best Motocross Simulation game on the market and get back to me when it's finished. If not, don't criticize the greatest game developer there is. Not very often do you see a developer listen to what we have to suggest and use our suggestions to make the game better. People like you will be the downfall of this game for being such a debby downer every post.

Did you not read my post dude?
I straight up said I don't have his talent. Quit puckering your lips up.

And honestly, I see tons of developers listening to request of their fans. On PC there are so many community built games, early access titles, and kickstarter campaigns that are based soley of fan input.
I'm not being rude or mean, I'm just pointing out what I see here. If he doesn't like it, the fine. If you don't like it, then fine.

I'm glad you're working on the models JLV, hopefully they turn out good.

Are you blind? Or just plain retarded, because less than 10 posts ago JLV said he wished he could have put these ideas into 1.9 but he had to get the update out before supercross and the models arnt ready. And it's pretty obvious that stock models are JLV's primary focus right now, so that means none of these ideas until after they are done. And if the models arnt ready for 1.9 then obviously neither are these ideas. So instead of making stupid, pointless posts maybe you should back track a bit and catch up on the happenings while you weren't on here.

Cereal doe Parny has a point.
Track dependent starting gates was one and its in the update, knocks was another, its also in.

I'm going to go through nearly all the ideas and place them in a category.

Look at what we need not want, 50% of the updates are stupid:
Tear offs
Bike mods
Quads
85's
Starting the bike
Tricks
Bike destruction
Changing tires improve traction
A store to buy stuff
Change rider weight and height
Arm pump
Mx Mechanic sim
Tyre pressure
Go Karts (Matt is stupid)
Custom inner tubes (ffs Matt)
Career mode
Hit other riders, steal there bike, other stupid stuff blah blah
See the rider shift gears and use the clutch etc
Get People to help Code
Music
Don't need it stfu

30% of which we don't need but would be nice:
Friends, proper server lists, ingame voice chat
Visual features for track, bike, gear selection etc
Dual button mapping
Better bike joints (Use bones)
Rider fall off
Setup menu save function update (garage)
The ability to look around you (Track IR)
Possibility for MP3 sounds, crowd ambient, water etc.
Object rollout in editor for track makers so you aren't constantly adding lines
Fix camera positions for 3rd person (useful for go pro's, wheel cams etc)
Better sounds (they have been updated but would cost a lot to be realistic)
Object physics (you hit a bale it moves)
New high speed low speed damping (Issue with figures can't be done easily)
Terrain push / feel. (not sure if deformation) When you hit a sand roller you go threw it as apposed to up like hard dirt.
More part selection, change boots and braces and an ambient rider selection for chest protectors and packs.
Menu for key cams
Mouse disappears when in game

20% of which we need or is highly wanted
Multiplayer erode
Mesh Collisions should improve bar banging
More rider bones, better movement
Better stabilizer controls at lower speeds
Terrain optimization for large terrain. (2k terrain cause massive lag it needs some sort of draw distance if it doesn't already idn)
Updated lighting, realtime shadows, the ability to have a number of "suns" or light sources, bike shadows just general shader improvements
Improved stock models (on its way)
An option to download others stuff (Don't like it but everyone wants it so I'm being fair)
Some sort of scripting for leader boards, people running, camera's pivot to rider etc

And last but not least a community that actual knows what they're talking about. I for one know sweet fuck all BUT people need to understand that if they're running P2sta's wheels and Attackers Suzuki with no lods that the game is going to lag. Its not a game optimization issue its a you issue so sort your shit out.

Someone feel free to add all the ideas to a voting page and maybe JLV will pick the most wanted after the stock models are completed.
