im stoked the 450's are coming, but to be honest i'll stay on a 250f for a bit, cause im not ready to race A class yet thus makes no sense for me to get used to a 450.

It is more of a handful but I would have been just as bad on a 125. I hadn't played in a couple of days and I was pretty sleepy on top of that. It was almost 2 AM.
ShackAttack12 wrote:I'll tell you what. After watching those demos.... If I'm riding that 450, i'll be going insanely huge on the current supercross tracks...... like jumping entire sections in 2 jumps that take a 250 3 or 4.
Actually I'm not as worried about that as I was before. I'm sure there will be some new big combos but it mostly just makes the current big jumps more consistent. The bike is more sluggish in the corners and harder to slow down so finishing a section with a big quad could actually be harder on the 450.

lol from the looks of it, jlv can hardly handle them, and he's been playing this game longer than any of us. =/ But 450's would be fun as hell for sure, but completely different riding style required (IMO for mxsim)

That's true, a lot of people can't handle 250's now, then with the addded power people will be sliding out and looping it everywhere, not to mention blowing corners and complaining their brakes don't work .

Is there any official word with what you're going to do for the classes in SX jlv? As far as based off of just what bike you want to use, or skill level or something else?

Well yea, but JLV will be the first to tell you he's not the fastest man on the virtual planet. I'm sure there are some guys on here that could handle the power, but the majority of the community will have trouble.

The worst will be those guys that have been riding around on 125's. Cant clutch the fo-fiddy in the corners im afraid...LOOP CITY!!!!!!

That's not necessarily true Wheels, as popping the clutch will (most of the time), yes, make you either loop out or low side. But I think it ultimately depends on your suspension setup. Not arguing, just pointing out it depends on the setup and throttle control, but the clutch won't be needed for the majority of a race.

Motoboss wrote:Imo jlv has a hard task of figuring out if it’s the track scale or if it’s the bike. Like its been said before I think the 250f's and the 125's that we have now are over powered. I really like the idea of sticking to the dynos info and applying it to the game ...Track makers will have to compensate.
Id have to agree with you. But on the other hand would it make more sense for the player to have to ride the bike within the limit the track. instead of doing as you said compensating for the bikes so everyone can just go flat out as much as possiable as that surely defeats the object of a simulator.

So I can race 250 East, 250 West, and 450?
