That first part was to make fun of me and my fellow Canadians, I know it.

No the video.... No you don't steer with your legs ONLY, that's why your arms move the handlebar....

BMseX if you are so sure of that here is what I want you to do. Take two straps or whatever you can make work and run them from your forks or bars back to your subframe as tight as you can essentially locking your bars in place. Then I want you to go out and try and do a fast lap and video it for all of us to see. But remember I take no resposability if you spend a night or 2 in the hospital.

That's the only way I'm understanding it right now, which makes sense. Now I am really wondering how I do this in real life and not notice it  .
basically what it is is just commen sence explained when you lean over to go around a turn the bars turn the way your turning (just like rideing a bike with no hand) its just that you have to keep more pressure on the opposite side so your front end doesnt slide out.

lawl

I don't mean you are actually turning the bars with your legs... of course you must use your arms to actually turn the bike. But all the muscles you use (should be using) and where you get most of the turning technique is from your legs. Watc Transworld MX's Skills 3 to have a better understanding.

I remember, after 15 years of MX competition, the first time I rode a road motorcycle, this fucking machine want to go straight !
You can't compare a bike 2x, 3x heavier than his pilot and MX bikes, which, generally, don't need to use counter-steer to lean. Speed also, it's rare in MX to have to turn at high speed. Generally, we have to break before turn... And wheel weight, wich define the gyro effect wich keep up your bike. I don't say what you said is false, but, it's not THE only true method to turn with MX bike, and only small pilots or at very high speed use this in MX. Or other maybe to lean faster.
Remember I'm not English, and thank for my education lacks

yeah, it's no use. physics are physics, the guy in the video is right, even bicycles turn this way (once over a certain speed). You just don't think about it while riding, it's just second nature.

Tried it on my bike today too, it worked, pretty cool. I don't notice it when riding normally, just when I actually test it like the guy in that video did.

On a side note I had to walk my bike 2.2 miles home because my rear tube popped, oh joy.
