Is there a way to adjust this? or can you make it the way it was jlv.
The handling is a lot better but I agree it does seem awkward and different .
I liked the rider test better IMO
However i agree with the camera even though i use 1st person so its alright for mejlv wrote:The physics haven't changed since newridertest1. The only difference is the way the rider looks. Placebo effect maybe?

Chad Reed does look stocky when he has his gear on. He wears it pretty loose.
I want a rider that's 6'3" and 190 lbs. With light blue eyes. And likes to take long walks on the beach. Must love dogs.

^^^
I think the camera makes alot of stuff feel.. wierd.
I want the first camera back. The one used before the new rider test came out.

Re: 2008-11-19 snapshot
The only thing Im having trouble with is the camera. I've played with this for a while now and I still cant decide what speed im going in to the jump and so on. Also when like jumping and turning a little bit at the same time feels so weird, it feels like the camera is going in a straight line and the bike going away from the camera.
EDIT. Ive tried some different tracks, and now i think its too easy to ride. (Not jumping, just general riding)
Im going 5th gear pinned through the red bud whoops without crashing.
And Im not even leaning back or forward trying to absorb the bumps.
Now you dont have to do that much to go around the track, I did like the rider test more overall than this one.

Yeah I agree with Fred- I'm not a fan of the new 3rd person camera.
It seems way too low, and it's hard to judge speed.
Though it makes whips/scrubs look a lot cooler...

The 3rd person camera that the playback mode uses would work perfect for me. (if it follows the riders turning and stuff ofc.)
This rider removed some of the sim in this game IMO.
Its so easy to go through whoops and bumps in high speeds.
Everything else besides chad reed, the camera and the easiness of going through whoops and bumps is good with me.

Re: 2008-11-19 snapshot
i dont know how you guys can say its not a sim anymore. If anything it is more real. The lap times and speed achived before rider lean is rediciously unreal. Imagin rideing your real bike and not being able to shift your weight around. Another thing you need to think about is the fact that the tracks themselves were made pre-rider lean, maybe newer tracks will need to be more agressive as in terms of whoops. And on a side note frederick I am from michigan and have rode at redbud several times over the years and belive me on a 250f you are PINNED slamming through those whoops.
