Who says that "someone" is the leader? People can't just self-elect themselves as the leader. Either run a race to determine who is on your team (which require someone to organise such a race), or run a vote for a team manager, who can then select who he wants.
I see what you're saying, but I would guess that me or someone who really doesn't know much about how this works or anything, wouldn't be the one ''calling the shots''. I'm not saying Maczust doesn't know how it works or anything but as of now it's basically a crap shoot, so I do think there should be a guy who makes the final decision. And this doesn't just go for the Canadian team, I think it should be that way with every team. I don't know, I'm sure once we get closer to that time it will get more organised and the best riders will go for their native country.
i know how it works there a team manager for every country and they pick the team but listen we arent getting payed and its a game so to be fair the manager for all the teams should be rf so theres no well im leader so ill add my friends not ill let someone who is new like me... try out rf try outs, or at least do qualifying at a track and then pick teams on lap times or something. idk i dont reallly care anyway alot of people dont even quailfy for there on race so i guess ill just have to get faster and suck it up

After thinking about it for a little bit I do think there should just be a race and 3 fastest are in for MXSON, but as DJ said someone needs to organise said race. And yeah we aren't getting payed and it is just a game but if your country is going to compete in anything don't you want them to do the best they can with the people they can get? And if that isn't us I'm fine with that and I'm sure you are as well. :)

its not hard to put a track on a server and have recorded lap time like there doing for the rf nationals and i know it better if the national number guys race but idk i think we should get a chance you know? but what ever GO CANADA FTW

Last year when the event was ran, we had a qualifer for MX1, MX2, MX3 and the highest finisher for there country got the spot for the MXDN. I dont know if they will do that this year but I dont see any better way. I would not like if teams were selected by the peeps, I feel we should get to race for our spot it makes its worth it in my eyes.

i couldnt agree more and qualifiers have there faults because people dont qualify for them selves so a race would be good like i can keep up with some of the guys racing the nationals but i cant set fast times so a race would be the best have a 3 moto format so you dont have problems getting the best of the best

all i know is im gonna qualify better then peter at unidilla and do you think he should be on no offence but im a b rider... i have a second faster poop lap then him already and im on a rm125 so ????
How about you worry about yourself and less about others.

I think that a more realistic and less time consuming way would be to have rF appoint a Team Manager for each country racing and have them pick the team they would like to have for the MXSoN just like it is for the MXdN.

I would be up for joe being manager, but what is going to be the deciding factor? I feel like there is a few people here that can do just as good as the other. Is there going to be qualifying, racing, or is it going to be a popularity contest? Those are my only concerns, cause i know myself, and vanderlee want a shot.

I have never supported popularity contest. It will be some sort of qualifying and determine who is most likely to show up. I would suggest start trying to make some rF since that would be a good judging tool since it will most likely be around the same time and with the same people.
