Dude, i dont care if you are riding a fricken 90lb whore with 2 wheels, if you are over about 10km/h, you are going to counter steer her to turn her! ITS THE FRICKEN PHYSICS OF MOTORCYCLES. It doesnt matter if you are on grass, dirt, pavement, or anything.totorox wrote:I remember, after 15 years of MX competition, the first time I rode a road motorcycle, this fucking machine want to go straight !
You can't compare a bike 2x, 3x heavier than his pilot and MX bikes, which, generally, don't need to use counter-steer to lean. Speed also, it's rare in MX to have to turn at high speed. Generally, we have to break before turn... And wheel weight, wich define the gyro effect wich keep up your bike. I don't say what you said is false, but, it's not THE only true method to turn with MX bike, and only small pilots or at very high speed use this in MX. Or other maybe to lean faster.
Remember I'm not English, and thank for my education lacks
Its rare in mx to turn at high speeds huh? In your 15 years of motocross competition as you say, you must have never had your motor running.... you must have been pushing and jumping on the thing to get around.
Kids these days.... they never want to know how things work, they just want to know the answers.... its the search engine generation
