Whens the next update JLV? Not asking for anything game breaking like lighting or UI scripting, but it feels like we've had a lot of important updates that we can't force people to use because they're snapshots

That's true. Probably would be a good idea to make a 1.4 release so people won't have to install snapshots to get treadmarks and optimized 4k terrain.

Hello, fairly newish to sim coming from MXB... wanted to know, do I need to download the 1.13 update as well as the snapshot? Does that give me the most updated version of sim OR does the snapshot cancel out the update, meaning all I need is the game installation and the snapshot?

You don't need this. It's for people who are on 1.12 or older. You can see the version number on the lower right when the menu is up. If you just installed now it'll be 1.13. You just want the snapshot.
