why is my AVI doing this?

for some reason my avi started doing some thing wierd. i click mxavi it takes me into the game and i record what i need but V.AVI or video i shot wont open and its only 2KB. and i see a new file called a-stereo 88320 and its a UB file. and that is usually 5-8=MB's. but that wont open either. can anyone help with this? thanks!

And here is what my batch files look like.
Join AVI:
sox -t ub -r 88320 -c 2 a-stereo-88320.ub -r 44100 -s -w a.wav
lavaddwav v.avi a.wav movie.avi
del v.avi a-stereo-88320.ub a.wav
MX AVI:
path %PATH%;C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator
