Hi, everyone!
I have searched all over this forum for my question so apologies if it has already been answered.
What exactly does landing Damping Falloff and Landing Damping Factor do? And what are the reasons you would mess around with these sliders?
I ride an average stiffness suspension, yet if I fail to land perfectly through rhythm sections, my rider will go limp and and I crash. I notice absolutely nothing when I play with the slider and am just really wanting to know why soft landings landings are bucking me off my bike.
Thanks!

Re: Landing Damping Falloff/Factor
Rider spring / damping could be too low.
The landing damping/falloff are an increase in the steering damping for a set period of time after you land. I believe it is there to make going through the whoops easier is it adds steering damping momentarily after a hit.

Re: Landing Damping Falloff/Factor
Oh, great! That's good to know because I just lowered my steering damping from 70 to 32 last night and was having major issues in the whoops with headshaking in the bars but a huge advantage everywhere else on the track.
I'll play around with it some more and see if I can figure the rest out. Thanks Phathry!
