As much hype has been built up around this RF gaming, they sure don't do too much updating until its 10 mins before the gate drop.

IMO, i would really like to see you guys put more time into this website. Keep us updated with whats going on, screens, ect. Do like a top 5 passes of the week from the race or something.

The only people seeming to get hype on this site, is the ones that are apart of RF, Hell I won one of the rounds in the LRS series for the B class and didnt even get a shoutout. Understanding this is only B class, but still try giving some love to the people that make your world turn.

I understand that you have other ways of showing this via.. facebook, twitter, mxs forum. But dont lead us on to more projects and not keep them updated.

Nicely said :) I completely agree with you. LRS was the first series i've ever done. It's kinda hard to follow everything that's going on if the site isn't updated until we're really close to race time. It could be a much better website for sure.

They both have tight schedule, especially Sween who does the recap's on the race rounds. That being said, it doesn't stop other people around rF contributing.

The LRS is at the bottom of the food chain in terms of racing events and coverage and the website just launched so I'm sure allot of there time was still invested in that as well as the SX Open.

For the Winter Indoor the track was released 20 mins before the race started with the schedule posted before Rd.1 started... The only thing people waited on were Wheels and Sween doing their scripts to actually start all the practice/racing...

Unfortunately MXS racing can't be their #1 priority in life...

Hopefully that clears some of it up, I'm sure they will add to it...

I agree with this and also what's up with this page? Shouldn't the news be in the center? I'll be honest I didn't notice the news was on the left until I stared at it for a few minutes while making this post.

I also find I have to keep navigating back to the round 1 page to get the IP for 250 practice, plus I feel like it should be mentioned somewhere that all times are automatically set to your current timezone so you don't wander around trying to find what timezone the times are in xD. The list of results should be in the middle of the page and I think the news should be too.

Im glad too see some good comments. I really was hoping it didnt sound like I was by any means "Bashing" RF. They have a great group of guys all working together and really have some potential. I just wanted to give some of my own thoughts on how to make what you guys have started better.

The LRS, thats whatever. I'm not crying because I didn't get a shoutout. (this is a video game lol)

The only thing I would really like to see improvment on is the updates. Keep the riders knowing whats going on... If you dont have time, allow someone else to do it. This community is full of aspiring artists, writers, modelers, skinners, engineers, mechanics. Ask for some help, They would be pumped to have a feature on RFgaming.com

rF puts more time in that any other MXS race organizer ever. You have to understand we have priorities, and rF is a hobby for us. The Supercross Open was a really big event for us, and we spent a lot of time and effort on it. LRS and Winter Indoor are supposed to be smaller series, that we can run with little effort (to keep our sanity). LRS and Winter Indoor may not even have race recaps everytime, as their importance is much smaller than our national series. I usually get on before the races to get things organized, an hour before if I can. The races usually take 2-3 hours to run (remember I am doing stuff that WHOLE time, not just playing the game waiting for my moto). After the races, I typically spend a minimum of 2 hours posting the "small amount" of things that we do post after the races, sometimes more if I take a bunch of screenshots and do a long race recap like some of the ones you've seen. The videos we make take at least 4 hours including rendering time, sometimes longer depending on the quality of the video. Some of our scripts we have made to run the races are hundreds of lines long. Emailing back and forth with sponsors and finalizing that sometimes takes weeks of planning. Deciding on the format usually takes a long discussion from the team. Building the tracks easily takes up 8-12 hours per track built (We have released a LOT of brand new tracks).

SCHAFFERNOCKER wrote:Dont lead us on to more projects and not keep them updated.
We do not lead anyone on...in fact it is exactly the opposite. That's why we don't post a lot of information right away, because we make sure it is finalized first.

Sorry for not posting anything about the Supercross Series yet, I will start leaking information (actually was supposed to be today) soon. For Supercross we have been planning for a LONG time. The reason we haven't released a whole lot yet, is because we are still working on it all. As stated above by Schaffernocker, we do NOT want to promise you all something, then not come through, so we are finalizing everything. You can imagine how difficult it is to organize 17 rounds, with 2 class, in prizing alone...back and forth with sponsors, updating the site, running the current races, planning the format, getting the tracks ready (rF is working on track objects), figuring out how to announce things in a clear way, getting a video together for the sponsors, it is FAR more work than anyone knows...

All of that above is non of any of your business, and I left plenty of things out that the community just doesn't need to know about, but I thought maybe having a little insight would help you guys to understand why we are not just posting stuff up everyday. We ARE working on a ton of site upgrades that will improve this, but again, I don't want to promise anything and not come through...

For the impatient, the 2012 Supercross Series will run very similar to how JLV has ran it in the past. The main differences are that we are now running 2 classes per night, and it looks like there will be a 250 West and 250 East region series....meaning if you ride the Lites class, you will have to choose 1 or the other, and race a 450 on the opposite coast if you'd like. This series will we replicated as closely to the AMA Supercross Series as we can/want.

Hopefully that can tide you dirty savages over until we get our Press Release together.....

You have to click a link on the left bar. Not sure how much experience you have with coding a website, but it isn't as easy as explaining to it what you want...

We realized this problem, so we fixed it when posting the track for Round 4...

I think it is a waste of space to put that times are automatically set to your timezone. The race times are posted in MANY different places on the site, and after sign ups close there is even a countdown on the sign ups page. I think many of you need to simply explore the site more. It is impossible to make it clear for every single person however...

Missed the whole point of my posts sween.

It was not to degrade RF, or bash on how they run things. You guys do a great job, there is no doubt about that.

I get the point of your post, and I will answer like this. I am not looking for criticism. Me and Wheels are ALWAYS trying to be better. Seeing posts like yours, no matter how well intentioned, is extremely aggravating.

No disrespect, but we do not want a staff helping us. More hands = More problems = More Mistakes = reputation down the drain.

Give an inch take a mile. race Factory is what it is, and we will always strive to be better...but on our terms. I will NOT open this thread again because I am about to rage really fucking hard on you.
