Re: Sit/Dab ??
When you press it your rider sits down on the seat and sticks his foot out. Basically you want to do it either coming in to turns all teh way through or starting in the apex of the turn. It's also used for low speed stability some times.

Re: Sit/Dab ??
The dab speed? It affects how fast you can go before your rider stops putting his foot out while you're sitting.. I can't remember how it works but in general you want to max it when you're slower (if I remember right).barrington314 wrote:so how does the speed slider affect this?

Re: Sit/Dab ??
The speed is in Feet Per Second. Whatever it is set at is the maximum speed at which your rider will put his foot out to stabilize himself. He will still sit at any speed.barrington314 wrote:so how does the speed slider affect this?

Re: Sit/Dab ??
I found it much more useful on R3 (the button that is pressed when you click in the right stick). This allows me to hold the sit button and lean forwards at the same time. I also leave "Sticky Sit/Dab" off.soc_monki wrote:i put sit/dab on the B button of my controller.

Re: Sit/Dab ??
ive never really been good with clicky-sticks. works better for me on the B button, and i use stick sit/dab, mostly because with my controls i have to! shifting with the X and Y, and rear brake on the A. i tend to shift while in a turn/powerslide and i couldnt hold B, or the R3 down, and shift. i only have so many thumbs
i just use whats comfortable.
