It's mostly about your shift points. Downshift to at least second and you can use the clutch to get it on the pipe if it needs a little help, then pin it and try to shift just where it starts to go flat. If you can get to 3rd gear with stock gearing, or 4th with it geared all the way down, you should be able to clear most things.
