WSAECONRESET?!!! CUSTOM SERVER ONLY WHEN CHANGED TRACKS.

Post by Mitch965 »

Ok. I made my own server and every single time i try to put a new track in the serverargs and run the server it runs then when i connect i get WSAECONRESET. I went to single player saved the track info, went to personal folder where it saved dragged it to the tack info folder in mxserver then typed out the track info in serverargs. Oh yeah and its not my firewall because i turned that off and it still didnt work. Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong. The server works with the stock tracks its only when i change the tracks it messes up.

When this happened to me it was due to me not port forwarding. Not sure why the stock tracks work though

No, its not not giving any error messages, It only says "contacting server"
"WSAECONRESET"
I also figured out if i mes with the laps, the entry message or anything else in the serverargs it does it then to,.. so basically if i tamper with the settings i have to re download the whole mxserver to make it work for stock tracks again.

"contacting server" is something the client says. You need to look at the server console to see the error messages.
