Computer Specs to Race an RF online race

Post by Shauns86 »

I have the skills to where i need to get on some good tracks, but my computer is a laptop and i cannot race the rf nationals, however, im looking at a desktop. I was wondering what specs i need for it to run with NO lag. Thank you, please help.

Honestly depends on what your looking for. I mean most people can run an RF race on any desktop with out lag... Just really depends on what kind of graphics you are looking to run.

Im not too concerned about graphics, just being able to run an online race and the best tracks with absolutely 0% lag.. like right now, i cant run any of the 2011 or 2012 supercross tracks

Lag refers to your internet connection, doesn't it?

As far as PC specs you can build something for about $400 that will run stock models and updated tracks w/o performance hiccups.

I'd assume he is referring to FPS lag.

Specs..

I'd guess a dual core processor at 2.5GHz would be enough
Video card GTX250ish with 512mb would cut it.
4GB RAM.

Granted the game still won't look real pretty, but it will run smooth.

Pretty would be about 750-1000 In a full RF National race with all model replacements.

Maybe like an:

i5 2500k
560ti
8gb ram max

You are better off youtubing tutorials on how to build a pc. You can get the biggest bang for your buck that way.
