Post anything about MX Simulator here. Please. I'm begging you.

Should Chaps44 be permanently banned from both online play and the forums?

Permanently ban Chaps44

Post by ddmx »

This is a request to permanently ban Chaps44 from both online play and the forums. I speak for many when I ask this request and I'm sure those many can back me up. He has showed a continual disrespect to riders online in both racing aspects and the use of chat. Please take this time to vote, and maybe something will come of it. Let this be a lesson to others also.

Is he even on the forums?

I see that it says 'Key Verified' when you go onto 19800 now. I think a ban on his user is definitely in order. No mercy I say

I'm still allowing bad keys. If you don't have a key it says "Please get your key at http://mxsimulator.com/email_regkey_form.html", but still lets you play. It looks like about half the players have keys right now. I'll probably give it another week or two and then require a good key.

Do I need a key if I don't play multiplayer?

Banning someone from part of the game that they paid for probably isn't a good idea, even if he is being a pain.

I just want to point out that I have never promised a free server to anyone. When you buy the game you have bought a copy of the software according to standard copyright law. You haven't bought the right to abuse people on my servers.

When I start banning people I will probably start a "no rules" server for the troublemakers to play on, but that is just a courtesy. I don't owe it to them.
