Tysen F. Funny Topic

Post by Colbemx »

I was wondering if the fastest guy on the game felt like giving lessons to newbies haha. I'm in great need of help with setup, speed, and fall off factor

Sorry if this was a waist of space just thought I would throw that out there.

honestly, what do you think he could really even teach you? when turning only move your stick 17% to the left, and use 59% throttle? maybe some basic setup stuff, but you can find that around the forums anyway.

The top 20 450 and even some 250 riders would all tell you basicly the same thing; don't crash. The rest is all you. We can't help.

Ditto Robert. Every time a group of us goes into a server there's a bunch of people asking us for our setups and what we run for this setting or that setting. It's all personal preference. Find something that works and learn it till you're smooth on it.

Unfortunately this game is about 60% percent setup, 40%gamer. But even with a great setup it takes a lot of playing to understand how the physics really work. But I will say the biggest part of setup (IMO) is advanced stability. But either way guys like TF21, JV48, TC16, etc. are just amazingly consistent and controlled.

I disagree. If it was 60% setup, then only one setup would work. Yeah, it helps, but its not everything. Just like real life, its the rider. Not the bike. Suspension settings are more important than advanced IMO.

I've seen people run the stock setup and win a RF race. I've seen people with the opposite of the stock setup win a RF race. I know that I couldn't take the stock setup and win, its just what you get used to.

While this is true, give Tysen a totally stock setup and watch him win by 40 seconds. I don't think it would happen.

It's not about the stock setup. It's just how well you know the physics of the game. Put everyone on a different setup than they have now and I bet they will finish the same exact way they would with a setup their familiar with.

In my opinion stability allows you in a way to create your own physics which is where I feel is where you really need to get it right.
