I never really found sitting to get pop off a jump to be very useful but I always sit in corners. And use sticky sit.

I use it in corners and whenever I want to push the front wheel down (rolling a jump, etc.)

your right, given that you have a vertical spring and dampening. depending on your settings, you can actually get more of a bounce by standing back up at the face of a jump, or stay standing.Norcal_51 wrote:I never really found sitting to get pop off a jump to be very useful but I always sit in corners. oh and to stay on topic. i also sit when im in corners, smooth streights, and scrubbing off of jumps (but i stand right before i land for better bike control).
