where is my personal folder?

im sorry im sure this has been asked but I have googled it and found nothing. I bought the game yesterday and trying to download graphics and such, all the videos show people putting the files in a folder called personal. I have windows 8 and went to program files(86) -mx simulator. and there is no folder called personal, I made my own under mx simulator and dragged the files there, then when I go into the game there is still nothing

"C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator" is the install folder and you can safely put your files there. The personal folder contains the data that the game creates, e.g. config files, screenshots, demos and saved tracks.
