GHz required to play online
I haven't bought this game yet. But I have downloaded the demo and play it as much as possible to get better at it before I buy the game. I need to buy a new laptop thought before I do buy the full game because my laptop graphics card sucks. How many GHz would I need to play online without any lag? All comments would be very much appreciated. Thank y'all!

There's a lot more that goes into answering your question than what you've specifically asked.
Posy a few laptops you're thinking about buying, in sure folks will come in and give an opinion.
Desktop is the way to go for gaming, though, if you have a choice.

yes, if you are hurting for money or dont have much go desktop, there better for gaming and graphics, they are cheaper, and can cost a lot less if you have a clue about building them.
But i guess if you must have a desktop there are some that will play it fine, i had a amazing laptop that would run mid-high settngs on most tracks.

What kind of graphics card would you recommend? I'm trying to make my decision kind of based on that.mxmadman374 wrote:yzracer#422 wrote:I haven't bought this game yet. We need to know your price range and what your intentions are, if you want to run the rF nationals or if you just want to be a casual racer.yzracer#422 wrote:What kind of graphics card would you recommend? Re: GHz required to play online
My dad's laptop have i3 processor (2,3ghz, mxs use only one core) and mxs run really smooth, around 60-90 fps with 40 riders. So if you have more money I would recommend to buy laptop with i5 and good graphics card (not integrated !)

I highly doubt you can run that on all of the nationals tracks with 40 riders online.kacper2kt wrote:My dad's laptop have i3 processor (2,3ghz, mxs use only one core) and mxs run really smooth, around 60-90 fps with 40 riders. I played it on 2013 Highpoint (30riders) and on Agueda 2013 (40riders) and I get 60-90 fps. What track should I try to test with 40 riders ?

Try it on Millville or Budds Creek. Either way, your best bet is to build a desktop as it will perform better than a laptop at a much lower cost.kacper2kt wrote:I played it on 2013 Highpoint (30riders) and on Agueda 2013 (40riders) and I get 60-90 fps. Well like I said earlier, I haven't played enough to start out in the rF nationals. But, I would like to progress into them. I think I will try for $500. BUt may go up if I can't find something. Are AMD graphics cards good? Or should I just buy a cheap laptop or desktop and upgrade the graphics card?

I still can't even whip or stay up in the corners.Hi Im Skyqe wrote:Try it on Millville or Budds Creek.
