Honestly id go with the intel. After dealing with amd my whole life and switching to an i7 3770k I must say they really do put it to amd when it comes to overall performance.

Do you mean i5 3570k?
I'm not a computer expert or anything, but I personally have the i5 in my system, and I've had zero problems (never had AMD, so can't say much about them). To me it all depends on your budget, if you have the extra money to spend on the i5 I'd go with that, if not, I'm sure the AMD CPU with definitely be good.
Take this with a grain of salt because as I said before, I'm no expert, just giving my opinion. So see what others say and decide from there.

I thought he's talking about CPU not GPU...Paulo#33 wrote:Buy two graphics card GeForce GTX Titan 6GB on SLI mode

What kind of stuff do you do with your PC outside of MXS?

Honestly if you have a little extra with the i5 look for a computer with an i7 because that makes a huge difference and sometimes not much more on your wallet

It depends what you do with your pc. If you are going to use multithreaded programs go with the AMD one. But if you're going to just play games on the pc go with the Intel one.

For gaming, an i7 shouldn't really make any difference over an i5. For something like video production, an i7 would be better, but unless you just want to have a bodybuilder PC that can flex its muscles well, an i5 is perfect for 99% of us.ant40c wrote:Honestly if you have a little extra with the i5 look for a computer with an i7 because that makes a huge difference and sometimes not much more on your wallet
That said, and i5 will be stronger for MXS than an 8320, but if you're building a PC specifically for MXS, then I would have a hard time telling you to spend the extra money on an AMD CPU and mobo.

Nothing is worth settling for their shitty customer service and quality. Never going with AMD. Been let down too many times, as well as many others

Bandwagon opinions like that are the reason that AMD is switching its focus from performance and gaming to budget components with a good price to performance ratio. AMD CPUs don't have any problems; they're just weaker and take up more power, but you get what you pay for, and the 8xxx series CPU is on par with an i5's performance. The AMD GPU drivers don't measure up to the NVIDIA drivers in any way, but a CPU is largely plug-and-play. I never had problems with my 4100.
