Arcade Mode is off Now i need controls for computer not 360

Post by Moto_rider4life »

I Finally bought this game and is still trying to figure this game out control wise... I have the arcade physics off so I need some recommendations for controls on the computer not a xbox 360 controller! Plz list your control settings bike set up ect. Also I need some tips on whipping with the controls you give!
Thanks

if your using keyboard i have some great settings i used untill i got controller. but i highly advise you get a controller asap. as it makes the game so much more enjoyable/better/easier
keyboard settings -
up - gas
down - brakes
left - turn left
right- turn right
W - lean forward
S - lean back
A - downshift
D - upshift
Shift - sit/dab
caps lock - back up

enjoy ;D also if your just starting off in the game, go around 50 stability and lower from there, as you get comfertable. and as for suspension, leave everything stock until you get the feel for the game/physics/etc. start testing suspension stuff when you feel it can give you an advantage as far as laptimes.
hope i helped!

Here's my keyboard set-up....

Throttle - Space bar
Fr. Brake - Z
R. Brake - X
Left - Left arrow
Right - Right arrow
Clutch - 0 (on number pad)
Up shift - Delete
Down shift - Insert
Sit/Dab - Shift
Backup - B
Lean Forward - Up arrow
Lean Backward - Down arrow

.... the rest of the camera stuff is whatever the default was i think

as for bike set-up... I run everything slowed way down, set Stability at 8 then I only change 3 settings
- Steering strength to 55
- max steering force to 1000
- Direct steer to 0.88

...I find it makes the steering quite easy on the keyboard this way... BUT it sucks for whips... when you're done a race and wanna whip just crank the Steering Strenght to 75-100
