i was just noticing the lack of visability in this game and i had an idea.. what if JLV added a feature that would let you PAN the camera left to right? this would especially help with helmet cam riders.. and also a look back feature... it would really help with knowing whats going on behind and next to you so everything doesnt happen so blindly... and thoughts?

I actually support the idea of a look back feature......

I think it would be cool if you could take a glance and see whats going on behind you.

It would be sick if the rider would turn around and look when you hold the button.

yea and and you could use it in the air and going into corners to help prevent getting passed or taken out...

and it would be cool in screenshots as well.. like doin a look back whip..

problem one of the most repeated rules in motocross is DON"T LOOK BACK! lol but it would be cool to be able to so that way its your fault if you mess up with it.

I don't, I race in front of me, just watch any one who looks behind them, guarantee they will get passed.

yea your right... just watch Carmicheal, Stewart, Reed, Alessi, ext they get passed all the time.... its all just about how you do it.. in the air is definatly the most effective way though...

most of the time when there looking it is to see what is ahead of them on the track. what would be cool is too look left and right, in order to glance ahead a couple of sections to see how fast you're catching the person ahead of you. If I were to ever see somebody that I was racing look back, I guarantee that you will be passed within the lap. You are already flustered, and by looking back you are nervous that you will be passed.

yea but over jumps pros and myself look back to see how close the person is so you know if you need to protect the inside so you can defend your position..

Everybody looks back, it part of racing, even if you say you dont, your lying.....

Just some people look back more than neccesary.....

i do them in untamed all the time i know a little secret

I don't really like to look back. Will just loose my focus, and beeing more busy with the rider behind me than infront.
for my only way for looking back is to see the rider after a 180* turn.
But i wouldn't like the lookback option to this game, Will be watching to much behind me than infront :/

For the purpose of this game, and noobs feeling the need to make takeout passes, I feel a lookback function is highly necessary. Even if it's some fake, like mva, camera shot of behind you, something is needed.
