Editing rider models

Post by MX_Cardinal »

What software do I need? What steps do I need to take? Is there already a tutorial?

Oh he knows how to skin. Search his previous posts. :D

I would imagine the models/skins tutorials sub forum would be a good place to start for MX Sim specifics once you learn how to model. You'll need blender to export your models in JM format.

I know how to model and use Blender, but do I need a certain rider skeleton or something for the heads/rider bodies? Cause I wanna work on my new Cardinal rider persona and it'll be badass once it's done!

Download one of the existing rider models, it has the rigging applied so you can just rig your new model to the same biped and see how the vertex's are weighted.
