Having trouble with the first 2 2014 SX tracks.

First of all this game is amazing and the skins, tracks and everything are the coolest thing I've ever seen in a game. I still stink at riding but i'm getting better, thanks to everyone for all the work y'all put into it.

Phoenix Rd 2 2014 sx kind of starts me off the track and locks the game up, A1 Rd 1 2014 lets me ride but starts me over in the same area. I was wondering if i am missing something, I've tried low, medium and high res versions, sorry if this is a dumb question or i posted in the wrong place. Here's screenshot:

You need to upgrade to 1.9.
