Field of view change = whole different experience

Post by staydown »

I know this might come off as something a newbie would bring up. But wow, I was randomly messing around with the field of view settings and its amazing how different the game feels when you lower the value. I was trying to simulate the view you have while playing Reflex, and I believe I came close. The experience seems so much better because it puts you closer to the action, it makes the ground textures more crisp, and it feels like it slows the bike down which gives better handling. Call me crazy, but this just made the game alot more enjoyable for me. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.

Field of View - 80
3rd person height - 4.0
3rd person distance - 14.0

I ride with

I like to see the rider actions in more detail
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

My experience with FOV is, if you narrow it, it seems harder to react. If you widen it, it seems easier to recover from swaps/slides etc. Just my opinion.

works pretty great to me, seems kinda like the perfect view to see well and recover from swaps and stuff in my opinion
