Yea that will play mxs but unless you just have tons of money to throw at it there are some things you could tone down for sure haha.

That build is not adequate, you will have to make do with this for now.btrill135 wrote:looking to buy a pc so i can run mxs with no problems. looked at buying this one tell me what you guys think.

Don't really see why you're spending this much on a build... but hey, it's your money. go to http://pcpartpicker.com and you can build one that's just as good, cheaper! And I would go for an AMD Cpu and overclock

Re: Gaming pc!!
Major Red flag, you listed the water cooled version of the card and anyone asking what parts are good for a PC has no clue how to make a loop to cool a card so unless this is someone else making it for you (in which case they had better include the CPU into that loop) you don't get that. Get the ACX cooler instead. 1TB SSD? Hell no, tech is not ready for storage like that, 500GB is pushing 250GB is your best performance to dollar point. The HDD setup is nice but are you really going to need a RAID 1 setup? What are you saving to this gaming desktop that needs constant backups on drives that have 5 year warranties? Just get a 2TB single drive and call it a day. 64GB RAM?! WHY? Once again gaming purposes you will not use over 8GB, promise. I have 16GB but I have a huge buffer, even for multimedia purposes and with DDR4 right around the corner spending $400 on that much RAM is nonsense. EATX board? Nope, you aren't going to use 1/10th of what that board is capable of, just get the ATX Rampage if you are looking for overkill. Soundcard? That is personal preference but if you get a motherboard worth anything it comes with built in sound chips that are actually worth something. I think its Gigabyte or ASUS that actually has the same chip built into the motherboard. Video I covered first thing but once again, you have the Hydro copper cooler which needs a watercooling loop to cool it and my guess is that you have no such thing. In fact, I almost didn't even write this out because I'm pretty sure this isn't serious and all you did was take the most expensive things you could find and ask for approval or as a joke. If you seriously want a PC I will help but I'm not taking you serious right now.

The specs sound good to me. I have a 560m 2gb geforce card, 500 gb, and 2.something GHz and I can play pretty well but I have to turn my graphics down a bit when im racing emf or rf. Still better then my last computer haha

Re: Gaming pc!!
Yea but a 6 core processor isn't necessary when the game only uses a single thread...And the fact that that build is $3-4000 makes us skeptical that you are for real.btrill135 wrote:No clue how much the computer i put up would run just was told what the best of the best was and assembled it. What is your budget? What do you want to use the computer for outside of MXS (photo editing, video editing, browing the web, etc)? You can easily build a nice PC that will handle MXS and the other listed tasks well for $1500 (the tower only. Extra for the monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.) and buy a second one for your friend to play on and still be cheaper than the build you proposed. Now if you just want to drop the cash to build the best of the best is one thing but when there is no point...There is no point.

Specs "looking good" don't cut it. Obviously some of you haven't read Puma's post. He makes some very good points and it would be dumb to go against them.

Re: Gaming pc!!
Once again, prove to me you are serious. You still haven't said what your price point is, what you will use it for/want it to do, where you are from/pre-built PC, and all these other important things that would help me get an idea of what you need in a PC. I'll help, I've helped others and it doesn't bother me to help but I'm not going to put my time and effort into it until I'm sure that you are seriously looking into getting a PC or you are just having fun with us with your first few post.btrill135 wrote:No clue how much the computer i put up would run just was told what the best of the best was and assembled it. Not sure how you have the sense of smelling through a computer, but that's past me. Too many people ask for advice and never accept it or take it.. it's not trolling when you are telling someone they know what they are talking about when they know what they are talking about.

Re: Gaming pc!!
You would be better off ditching the 6 core and going with an i7-4770k.... save money and retain around the same performance. Spend that extra money on a second 780 for an SLI rig and as far as the water cooled crap goes just go with an Asus Direct CUII or MSI GAMING Twin Frozr 780 as both offer excellent aftermarket cooler solutions and slap a Corsair H80i or H100i closed loop cooler on the cpu and call it good. What you listed isn't a good build for someone who does not even know if the "specs" are good or not.. like Puma said.
