Why doesn't erode work?

Post by honda71 »

Does anyone know how to get erode to work? I was getting it to work when the version was at about 1.6. Is anyone getting it to work still?? if so please tell me how.
my target says "C:\Users\Reese\Desktop\MX Simulator\mx.exe" --erode 1.0 it still doesn't work...

It doesn't work because it's targeted to the wrong .exe. You targeted it the the desktop shortcut. Try something like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mx Simulator\mx.exe" --erode 1.0

I think that's your problem. If your installation folder is in a different section name it to that. Hoped that helped :D .

I do it in the desktop shortcut too but for it to be noticeable very quickly you need to use something alot higher than 1.6. A thread a couple weeks ago pointed out that it goes up to 100. So Ive been using 10 for several laps with good results, not much pitting and holes.
