Hi, I was wondering what settings I should run to get the best graphics. Thanks

Re: Graphic settings?
Start out with everything maxed at 100, then go ride a pretty demanding track (like Lierop) with a few AI riders. If it lags, lower the settings in increments of 5 or 10 until it doesn't lag anymore.
I just said use AI so the settings will have less tendency to lag online, hope it helps

Thanks alot, what should I have the "Enable ground mipmaps", "Use frame buffer" and "Ground texture resolution on"?

Framebuffer objects and mipmap generation are better, but they are buggy for a lot of drivers. Try enabling them and if they don't cause any texture corruption leave them on.
The best setting for ground texture resolution depends on how much texture memory you have. Unless you have a fast video card with a lot of memory I'd leave it at 128.

What should I run it at if i have a geforce 9800gt gdd3 512mb 256bit? I have everything maxed but it lags on the starcross map. I also have a quad processor with 8 gigs of ram.

Re: Graphic settings?
I'm just on a little 17" laptop and I can have it near max with(100 geo. detail, 8 texture and 512x512 ground res.)the mipmaps on, shaders on, and roost about 1/2 (any more than 1/2 doesnt look real IMO), and model detail both max. My laptop specs: Vista, Intel Core 2 duo 2.25Ghz, 9800GTS 1GB, 4GB ddr. Not exactly a hotrod laptop, but it runs this game pretty nice.Red619 wrote:What should I run it at if i have a geforce 9800gt gdd3 512mb 256bit?
