fine tuning with decimals?

Post by jtrs61 »

so ive been looking at some setups (anything to help with the damn learning curve) and I noticed on some the roll dampening is at like 37.50 and the angle at 3.75, as well as the landing falloff and factor also deals in decimals... my problem is the roll damping slider bar only does whole numbers. and the fall off goes from .06 and jumps to .13... im using v1.9, any sugestions on how to change those factors?
thanks- JT

If you edit the config file directly you can set things at a finer precision. If people can really tell the difference I could easily make the slider use a smaller increment.

I'm not sure if those factors make that huge of a difference... That's a great suggestion if it does matter in the scheme of things. As far as editing the config file, I haven't delved into a computer enough to know what's going on there.. haha just one more thing to learn I guess! Constantly learning. Just like real riding. Great game sir, hats off!

Ok, noob question, can I just open that config file into microsoft word and edit what I need to on the setup and save that way?

Word will mess it up. Notepad should be OK.
