Help me get better! Please!

Post by Nick165 »

I got the game about a week and a half ago, Ive been playing the game a lot lately and I cant even go through a couple sections on the track. If someone would like to help me that would be great!
If you have your own server where you can show me some tips that would be even better. I dont have a mic for my pc but i do have an xbox that we can talk on or something else!
sorry if I posted this in the wrong place but im new to the forums :)
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Im atwork on my phone so can't hop on and help you, but my main piece of advice is to ride like you would in real life. Focus on not crashing and learning the track long before trying to go fast and nail every jump.

Too often folks go out and try to throw down fast lap after fast lap and continue to crash. The problem with that is that your learning curve is much slower because you haven't been able to identify exactly why you crashed.

Also, random tips: be easy on and off the throttle and brake, big fast movements on any of the controls upset the bike, you're better off just trying to be as smooth as possible.

If you notice parts of a track that you can't figure out or have specific questions on what you need help with post here and we can try to help more accurately.

Yeah I will be offine work in about 2 hours. I'm OK with voice comms like Skype, but I don't have an xbox, etc. We can just type.

Between now and then try to figure out what your biggest problems are and we can focus on those.

I'll post on here or send you a message here when I get on and we can find a server to meet on.

Nick ,

First of all try riding with a high stability around 60-70! In advanced stability put roll damping at around 70 and levelling at 35-40 ... When u get better lower stab by 5 till u get comfortable!

Yup, stability is very important and you should start with high stability.. but just a protip: changing the "Stability" setting in the main menu it reverts all the changes in the "Advanced Stability" settings, so once you find Advanced Stability settings you want, dont mess with the normal "Stability" again.

Also, I'm on, check your PM's nick, lol.
