Rippers and Modelers

So I figured this would be the right place to post this.
So there have been some rippers in the past and they have pretty much ruined the community because now most of our great modelers won’t release anything.
But i’ve got one question, what has been ripped other than andy’s kawi? I mean since I’ve been around thats pretty much the only thing I’ve seen ripped, so why do people like Mason say they aren’t releasing anything? How did Andy’s kawi affect many other modelers and make them want to not release anything? I don’t get why one person’s ripped model caused almost everyone to keep their stuff to themselves. And not only that but they respond by posting pictures of their newest models and say “Oh here’s the bike I’m working on, but fuck off you can’t have it.” Just seems really immature to me. I’m not trying to start a hate train by posting this nor am I hating on anyone, just wanna see if there’s anything I'm missing here.

Theres been many many other things. Tbh I can't remember off the top of my head but bikes, helmets, boots but mostly bike skins and gear. A lot of gear has been ripped.
