Possible bug?

Post by Phathry25 »

I've been riding with erode on recently and I've noticed that when my front wheel slides, causing erosion, the game will lag. Why? Is this WAD?

Forgot my specs.

Windows XP SP3

4GB RAM
GeForce GTX 280 896MB Video.

I run the game with all the graphical settings on max. I have erode at 0.2

When using the front brake or sliding when you fall? Or both?

Never mind just went and tried it, it does it for me too.

Does the frame rate stay low if you pause it while it's lagging?

It flashes a lot, but looks to be staying in the hundreds when paused (with that happening on rabbit hill).

In that case it's the reshaping of the terrain that's slowing it down. To be honest that code has a lot of room for optimization.
