In need of a decent PC

Post by logansm323 »

alright guys, i need a decent pc. (sorry for starting a new topic for this, but it was begging me to post anything  ) haha, all jokes aside i need a pre-built desktop, for around $500-900 at the most, i know thats not gonna get me much especially since it is pre-built, but i dont wanna go through the trouble of getting all the parts possibly not on the same day and some not being compatible (i know about pcpartpicker) but it would just be much simpler to find a nice pre-built one. I would like to be able to run a 40 man gate on medium settings with playable fps on all tracks. i have done lots of research trust me, but im just not super computer shabby. so, i came to the people who know and can help.
this is my first option so far that i have looked at (specs)

System: AMD FX 6300 3.50GHz 6-Core; AMD 760G Chipset; 16GB DDR3; 1TB HDD; Genuine Windows 8 64-bit
graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 2GB Video Card; 24X DVD±RW Dual-Layer Drive; Audio: 7.1 Channel; Gigabit LAN; Fan Control Panel; Keyboard & Mouse
Expansion Bays/Slots Total(Free): 3(1) Ext. 5.25"; 6(5) Int. 3.5" / 2.5"; 1(0) PCI; 1(0) PCI-E x1; 1(0) PCI-E x16; 4(2) DIMM 240P
Connectivity: 4x USB 3.0; 4x USB 2.0; 1x RJ-45 Network Ethernet 10/100/1000; 802.11b/g/n Wireless; Audio; 1x DVI; 1x HDMI |1x VGA
Chassis: Aerocool Xpredator X1 Gaming Mid-Tower Case w/400 Watt Power Supply; 1 Year Parts & Labor Warranty; Free Lifetime Tech Support

sorry its all jumbled up, thanks guys! looking forward to replies!

(please put the links to the pc's)

all together and everything. that pc should last you years to come you will be please with that for years :D
if you expand your gaming in to more hardware intensive games you will be just fine with this.

In all honesty the CPU is decent and the PSU has headroom, you could just buy a 750Ti or 760 and run just fine but that newegg link is a solid build so its up to you. I might also try to go to a website and just build your own (ncix, ibuypower, cyberpower) and get one a little more personalized.

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/TXJV3C. I know you want a prebuilt but I got to say this, I didn't know anything about computers a few months ago.. I spent a week or so reading, used part picker to make sure everything was compatible...about 2 hours and 4 beers later it was done. could of been a bit cheaper
