Bummer. I need to work tomorrow. I don't mind though, I'm not going to demand you to change the times, considering I'll forget to race it anyway.

Nah, that's dead center of my shift, actually. :/ Just make sure the demo is posted, so I can watch it at least.

Would've loved to race the other one but I just had to help my grandparents move but when we got there they changed there mind. =/ I'll find a way to make it to this one though.

My review

Things I liked about the track:
  • Jumps flowed well.
  • Nice speed variation.
  • Decent environment.
  • Good for racing.
Things I disliked / Improvements that could be made:
  • Berms/ruts were way too flat. They did not start smoothly, which caused them to have a bump before them.
  • Some jumps were too narrow. They needed to be stretched to the off track a bit more.
  • Textures were ordinary / low resolution.
  • Roost was a bit blotchy. Props for attempting to make your own though.
  • Whilst the environment was decent, it was a bit scrappy looking.
  • There's one jump in there that makes no sense. Its too long to clear, but pretty steep to roll over.
  • Track was a bit wide in places.
Overall, I give it 6/10. Although it may appear harsh, it would have gotten a better rating if this were not a track comp. Good effort though.

That was hell gay on his behalf. But I swear, every second race you get that message Mikey. You have to stop cutting.

DJ, I'm pretty sure you just suck. That jumps not that hard to hit, granted it is tough, it's doable.

Pretty sure I just front flip over it. And its probably only doable if you get that corner sweet. And since thats the case, there should be another option there, like making it a triple

The long straight into uphill right corner to giant single, then another giant single and some rollers after it. You can double the two singles.

Yes that double is hard... i can only do it if i drift wide and can not do it no matter what on a 125cc.

I have to disagree with you a bit here...

The "pretty" aspect of tracks i take second handed... I'd much rather have a track that the creator spends more time on the displacement map than added eye candy. I understand there are people who like to enjoy the scenery as they take laps on the track (cough Jones ), and that's fine. But in the end you are not riding objects, textures, trees, etc... you are riding TERRAIN, and it has to be the most important thing.

I think this track is one of the better tracks in the contest. The displacement map is great. All the jumps are well placed and there are a few sections with multiple options. Every section is different and has it's own unique appeal to it. It honestly feels like a stock track that the game would come with. In most parts of the track, the line choices are pretty much equal speed. I would say that most parts of the track are equally as fast taking the outside line.

About the huge double section... I think it is perfect. If you feel ballsy, rail the outside and go for it.... if not, roll the first and double out. Doubling is probably .5-1 second faster, but it comes at a risk, as it should.

I'd give this track a 7.5/10.

Thank you.

That is what I was going for. Those two singles there at Glen Helen, have never been doubled. They probably could, but its' daring and ballsy as hell. I have that here. I can do it, but I wouldn't in a race. If I may suggest, do it like this: Single the first big one, double to the little bump, and roll over the last little hill.

If Time Trials load, watch my demo when I do it.
