Help with rendering in 3ds max please
Hello guys I've done a fair few renders in blender but I'm finally sick of how hard everything is so I've decided to switch to 3ds max. But I'm going to need some help. I was wondering if anyone could make a English tutorial as their is none on YouTube. I will happly put your name and number on any 2 bikes I have made. Thankyou

Why do you suppose 3ds max is easier than blender, the basics are same regardless the software you use, just the UI is different....don't expect awesome renders just because you switch you render software.
Also I wonder what you tried to find on google...probably something like "how to render bikes" right?
Kids these days expect that everything is gonna be served to them, you need to learn the techniques and methods and later transfer the skills you learned on a bike model....If you want to learn rendering, check for "3ds max basic render tutorial"

For starters everything is worded alo better then blender so that makes it easier to under stand what everything does. Yeah I'll have a look for some basic render tutorials. I never expect anything to be handed to me I just thought it might be a good idea because there's probably a few people in the same position as mep2sta wrote:Why do you suppose 3ds max is easier than blender, the basics are same regardless the software you use, just the UI is different....don't expect awesome renders just because you switch you render software.

But what about the people that aren't? how did they get in the position they are in?Beast2013 wrote:For starters everything is worded alo better then blender so that makes it easier to under stand what everything does. You can't learn blender overnight or 3ds, it took me months to fully understand blenders UI, and i spent hours watching tutorials on how nodes work, lighting, all that stuff.
all i can say is, take your time, and you will start to improve.
i've been using blender for about a year now and i only recently jumped a massive hurdle in my rendering skills, though i still have more to jump.
