2009-10-08 snapshot
Changes:
- Fixed bug where you get incorrectly counted as lapped if you cross the finish line when the checkered flag is out for the leader.
- Dab button now aims camera at current rider in free camera mode.
- New "spy mode" lets you watch other players even if you aren't a spectator. Use /togglespy in the chat screen to activate it.
- Rider's leg position is a little different now.
- When recovering from a fall, the bike will not turn towards the next gate if the reverse button is held down.
- If you steer while backing up, the bike will be turned to match the steering.

Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2009-10-08
Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

I love the improvement on the not getting pointed in the direction of the next gate! Very useful, as are the rest!

Can the button to stop the bike from turning towards the next gate be programmable? It's kind of awkward to use when the rider is backing up.
I like the leg, does it change position according to the height it is away from the ground? Should be pretty cool for shots

I put in the reverse turning thing to help when you get stuck in a fence. If no one likes it I can revert it easily enough.

I like the new back-up feature a lot.I just really wish that now he can stick his leg out straiter that he could do it at faster speeds.
.This is an awesome update JLV

Love the update, dont change the reverse thing, it's much easier/faster to get out of off track excursions.
