good recording software?
I've been wanting to make mx simulator edits, but I don't know a good recording software... any ideas?

Using fraps is good. Gives you nice raw quality to edit with our you could use open broadcaster if you want lower quality compressed videos due to hard drive restrictions.

Fraps annoys me, it has lag spikes when i try record and it drove me nuts, my PC is perfectly capable of using it

If you have a high end pc, definitively nVidia ShadowPlay (must have nvidia gpu). Otherwise I would prefer "Action!", as good as fraps, but not as horribly demanding on your pc. You also have Dxtory. Think there's one called D3gear too.
